Ghosts, goblins, and skeletons, too — this family-friendly Halloween event is LIVE at The Pru!
Get your costumes ready to join us for a Spooktacular day of fun at our 28th annual PruBoo. We are thrilled that this year’s charity trick-or-treat event will be held in person once again after a two-year hiatus. We will host our much-anticipated Halloween festivities on Sunday, October 30th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. We’re looking forward to seeing your boo-tiful faces up close and personal this Halloween season.
This year PruBoo will raise money for The Teal Pumpkin Project. The Teal Pumpkin Project is a simple way to make trick-or-treating safer and more inclusive for the one in 13 children living with food allergies — and many others impacted by intolerances and other conditions. Placing a teal pumpkin on your doorstep signals that, in addition to candy, you offer non-food trinkets and treats that are safe for all trick-or-treaters.
Ghouls just want to have fun — and unicorns, witches, and lions, too! We’ve lined up a number of activities to celebrate PruBoo’s return in person. Face painting is always a favorite treat for kids of all ages. What design will your child choose?
Eat, drink, and be scary. Take a gander around the Center to find the lunch that sits best with you. California Pizza Kitchen and The Cheesecake Factory are just a few of our faves.
If you’ve got it, haunt it! Photo opportunities FTW… We love seeing your smiling faces, goblins and princesses alike. Join us at the photo station for a perfectly Halloween-inspired photo as a keepsake from this amazing day.
Be ready to be AMAZED by the fang-tastic magic and miracles of Robert Clarke. Coins appear, disappear; cards seem to vanish. Tricks done in their hands and under their noses, your children’s jaws will drop with amazement. (Magic Shows 11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.)
With over 50 stores and restaurants participating in our trick-or-treating event, your child will be “Goblin” candy all day. But, of course, there will be healthy treats brought to you by Star Market and non-food goodies in support of The Teal Pumpkin Project’s mission. Check the PruBoo map day-of for a listing of participating stores.
Oh my gourd! Your design will be the Pick of the Patch at PruBoo Pumpkin decorating. Design your pumpkin to be a scarecrow or a cat, or maybe a monster in a hat. (Available while pumpkin supplies last.)
Your children can also shake their boo-ty with Vanessa and the Jumping Monkeys. Sponsored by Bright Horizons, multi-award winning, Boston-based family music performer Vanessa and the Jumping Monkeys will take Center stage at 12:00 p.m. She is known for highly interactive and energetic shows, featuring plenty of group singing and movement.
While participation is free for all activities, we ask that attendees use the $5 Prudential Center trick-or-treat bag for collecting candy during the event. All proceeds from the trick-or-treat bags will go directly to our nonprofit partner, The Teal Pumpkin Project.
