The weather cools down, but the spirit turns up at Prudential Center every October! That means one thing… it’s time for PruBoo! We’re back for our 30th season on Sunday, October 27th. Kids and parents, get your costumes ready and join us for a spooktacular day of fun Halloween festivities from 11AM to 1PM, including trick-or-treating at 30+ participating stores and restaurants. All activities are free and open to all!
Did you know each year, the Center partners with a local non-profit to give back to as part of PruBoo? This year, visitors are encouraged to purchase a Prudential Center trick-or-treat bag, with the $5 donation benefiting Boston Children’s Hospital. Every dollar raised will help with breakthrough research, family support, and vital services not covered by insurance.
Keep reading on how to reserve your trick-or-treat bag and additional steps to get ready for a fab-boo-lous PruBoo experience!
Costumes are highly encouraged at PruBoo! Help the Center come alive with your spookiest witchy gear, favorite superhero, coordinated group get-up, and more!

Make your costume extra unique and shop the Center’s retailers to create the perfect ‘fit. Complete the look with make-up support courtesy of Sephora and MAC!
Before heading to Prudential Center, make a donation to the hospital online. On the donation page select “other” and type in $5 (or your preferred gift amount). You will receive an email confirmation once the donation is processed. Upon arriving at the Center, visit the event check-in areas and show your donation confirmation email/screenshot to retrieve your trick-or-treat bag.
For the treats, be sure to pick up a PruBoo map day-of for a listing of participating stores awaiting to see all the fun costumes and cheery faces!
For the trick, catch magician Robert Clarke at 11:30AM and 12:30PM as he AMAZES you with mind blowing magic and miracles, from coins appearing and disappearing to cards seeming to melt and vanish.
In between the trick-or-treating, get your face painted by one of the talented artists and put your own skills to work while decorating your very own pumpkin (while supplies last). Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys will also be on hand to get everyone jumping with her highly interactive and energetic show.
Throughout the day, visit View Boston and DICK’s House of Sport for even more festive fun! At View Boston, take advantage of a free youth ticket (with each adult ticket purchased) from 10AM to 2PM for sky high costume character meet & greets on the 52nd floor, featuring: the Sanderson Sisters, everyone’s favorite mermaid and bayou beauty princesses as well as a spider hero and winged American hero. Over at DICK’s House of Sport, show off your costumes and Halloween spirit with a trick or treat scavenger hunt, games, music, and much more!
