It’s hard to follow the brightly hued 2024 color of the year, but PANTONE knew what they were doing when picking 2025’s color: Mocha Mousse, inspiring a mood of connection, comfort, and harmony.

PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse is a warming, brown hue infused with richness. The color was chosen as it nurtures our desire for comfort, which the color that hints to the satisfying qualities of chocolate and coffee.

As stated on its website, “Pantone selects a color each year that captures the global zeitgeist—the Color of the Year expresses a global mood and an attitude, reflecting collective desire in the form of a single, distinct hue.”
