We’ve spent the last year in loungewear — and now it’s time to show your closet a little love with a spring wardrobe refresh. We’ve got some tips for making sure you meet this new season with your best foot forward. Here’s a five-stop shopping trip to take you from on your couch to à la mode.  

First stop: In dress and denim heaven 

First stop: Aritzia. After a winter at home, we’re ready to treat the city streets as our personal catwalk. This innovative design house and fashion boutique has just the right collections to kick off our spring wardrobe refresh.

Second stop: Fashion for picnics and wine-sipping 

Club Monaco’s new men’s and women’s collections are “made to celebrate sunnier times.” How could we not enter?  

A round of browsing these timeless styles is just what we need to create a foundation for our spring wardrobe refresh. Select a few classics, like the Striped Twist Maxi Dress — it has a playful favorite-shirt appeal — and prepare to bask in “all eyes on you” at your next Back Bay Fens picnic.

Every wardrobe upgrade demands a visit to Kate Spade New York, a one-stop-shop for bright, chic, and feminine looks from head to toe.   

Time has come to trade in our tired handbag for a sunny yellow Knott Medium Satchel — hello spring! And, since we’re here, we can’t help but fall for the Paper Boats Top in pebbled satin fabric. That tipped sunhat is made for May, too. Oh, and wouldn’t those glistening petal studs in coral complete the look? Ok, we may be done here! 

Fifth stop: People-watching never looked better 

There are sunglasses, and, then, there’s Oliver Peoples. Crafted, sculpted, perfected, and finally hand-adjusted, these frames take people-watching from the Earl’s rooftop patio to another level.  

Rooted in Malibu culture, Oliver Peoples brings classics like the Finley Vintage, Gregory Peck, and O’Malley to The Prudential Center. Next time the sun hits our eyes, we’ll be sporting a pair of Weslie Sun with vintage glass lenses and a polarized sundust gradient.
